Dory Estrada is the Vice President of Weltweit e.V. and supports this organisation with internal development, community-building, and as co-facilitator in the Project Management Academy modules. She holds a B.S. in Environmental Science from the University of Tampa and a dual M.S. in Sustainable Urbanism and Sustainable Design from the University of Stuttgart and Ain Shams University. Dory is a recipient of the DAAD scholarship and has over 6 years of experience as grant proposal writer and project coordinator. She was the co-founder of a sustainable agriculture-focused focused start-up, Ambrosia Global, from 2011-2013 and has specific expertise in both urban and environmental sustainable development. Dory previously worked as a Special Environmental Projects coordinator at a non-profit in Tampa, FL and as a Project Consultant at S2i GmbH, and is a certified Master Facilitator with The Bridging Principles Europe, delivering professional trainings on cross-cultural communication and cultural safety. Dory is passionate about projects related to local economic development, urban greening, and social enterprise, and is an advocate for entrepreneurship a powerful tool for positive social impact. Dory is currently based in Washington, DC, USA.
