Jakob is a young professional in the field of ‘Agriculture and Development’, with a background in Agronomy, as well as African and Asian Studies. After obtaining a master degree in ‚Agriculture and Resource Management in the Tropics and Subtropics‘ from the University of Bonn in 2019, he started his professional career in Mozambique as a technical advisor. Following work assignments always allowed him to further his skills and interests in development-oriented project management and applied agricultural research. Since 2020, Jakob leads Weltweit’s Saline Agriculture initiatives in Mozambique/Eastern Africa in his function as project manager.
