Mohamed entered the Government Technical Institute, Freetown Sierra Leone in 1996, where he completed and earned the CITY & GUILDS of London Certificate in Electrical and Electronic Installation Technology. He lived in New York, United States of America for 12 years and attended DeVry University, School of Engineering and Technology in New Jersey USA in 2004 and studied Computer Networking & Telecommunication Management. Mohamed manages the daily operations and works with international partners of the organization Start N’Light, which he founded in 2017. Being an expert on solar P.V. micro/mini-grids system he plans for rural electrification solutions with Start N’Light. Besides Mohamed works as a television and radio broadcast, network engineer and businessman in Sierra Leone and USA. He also has experience in community youth violence mitigation and conflict mediation.
