Rukayya Mahe holds a Master’s degree in Agricultural Economics, and her last job was as a part-time research assistant at the Institute of Agriculture and Food Policy, University of Hohenheim, Stuttgart, Germany, where she worked for two years. During her tenure, she supported projects analyzing agricultural value chains, including mapping trade barriers in the ECOWAS region. Prior to this, she worked for Union Bank of Nigeria Plc for eight years. She is keenly interested in food policy and safety, community development, and women’s empowerment.
