Standy Christianto has a passion for empowering indigenous peoples in tropical forests. He has a Master’s degree from the University of Bonn with a scholarship from the Indonesian government majoring in Agricultural Science and Resource Management in the tropic and subtropics. After graduating, he lived in Central Borneo and joined The Borneo Institute as a program manager in charge of agricultural projects in the tropical forests of Borneo in collaboration with Government, Fairventures, BFDW and Weltweit. Standy has expertises in community empowerment, agroforestry modeling, project management, and strategic planning.
