This course combines flexible, self-paced learning with collaborative group work and expert-led live sessions. You’ll follow guided scripts, complete hands-on exercises and assignments independently, and come together during live sessions to deepen your understanding, ask questions, and engage in peer learning.
While the course structure allows you to learn at your own rhythm, please note that active engagement and time investment are essential. The estimated total workload is approximately 40 hours, requiring consistent dedication across the 5-week period. A certificate of participation will be provided upon completion of the course.

This course is ideal for individuals with a strong motivation to use GIS in environmental, social, or development contexts. Prior GIS experience is not required, but a basic familiarity with digital tools and a commitment to complete the full training are expected.
