Is the current chairman and director of the association. He first studied Asian studies and graduated with a degree in Tibetology. After working for some time in Beijing in the cultural sector and in Shanghai in industry, he was drawn outside to nature and started his own business in Germany as an arborist. A few years later, he completed a Master’s degree in Resource Management and Agricultural Sciences of the Tropics and Subtropics at the University of Bonn. His master’s thesis dealt with rice farming systems in the Mekong Delta. Shortly after, he founded the Weltweit association with old and new friends from his student days. Kajo has two daughters and continues to work as a freelance arborist.
